This YGR®Inactivated Virus Sampling Kit with Sampling Set is specifically designed for the safe collection, inactivation, and transport of clinical specimens, including COVID-19, influenza, hand-foot-and-mouth disease (HFMD), norovirus, and rotavirus. It is fully compatible with most commercially available viral nucleic acid extraction kits.

Developed by YUGOMED, the proprietary guanidine-based virus inactivation reagent rapidly and effectively disrupts viral components while preserving the integrity of viral nucleic acids. This minimizes the risk of false-negative results during nucleic acid testing. Post-sampling, the tube does not require refrigerated transport (2–8°C). It can maintain nucleic acid stability at room temperature (RT) for up to 48 hours without affecting quantification results, and can still support reliable detection in positive samples after 7 days at RT, significantly reducing logistical and storage costs.
