Principle of Operation

Adhesion Microscope Slides work in combination with a liquid-based cytology slide preparation machine. The process begins by drawing the cell-containing preservative fluid through a filter membrane, which captures over 95% of the sample and distributes it evenly. Then, air pressure transfers the captured cells from the membrane onto the slide. This method speeds up slide preparation, improves success rates, and greatly reduces the risk of misdiagnosis caused by uneven cell distribution.

Storage, Transportation, and Shelf Life

Store the packaged slides in a clean, dry area at room temperature and pressure. During transportation, avoid exposure to rain and protect the slides from heavy pressure or impact. Shelf life is 5 years under proper storage conditions.

Instructions for Use

1. Inspect the slide for visible damage or signs of mold before use. Do not use damaged or contaminated slides.

2. Wear disposable gloves and a mask to prevent contamination and ensure safety.

3. Place the cell filter correctly into the designated area of a compatible cytology slide preparation machine.

4. Using a pipette, add 1–2 mL of the sample fluid into the filter tube.

5. Position the slide on the rack with the white frosted side facing down.

6. Start the machine. It will first use vacuum suction to draw the sample onto the filter membrane, then apply air pressure to transfer the cells onto the slide.

7. After transfer, dispose of the used filter and remove the slide for staining and further observation.
