YGR® Cytology Centrifuge
The YGR Cytology Centrifuge is a specialized device used for the preparation of thin-layer cytology slides, especially for cervical cells. Samples collected via cervical brush undergo gradient centrifugation, separating impurities and spreading effective diagnostic components (cells and bacteria) into a flat, uniform layer without overlap. These ultra-thin layers are then absorbed onto glass slides for microscopic examination or computer-assisted reading.
Product Description
The YGR Cytology Centrifuge is specifically designed for producing uniform thin-layer cell preparations, particularly for cervical cytology. Cervical cell samples collected using a brush undergo gradient centrifugation, effectively removing impurities. The remaining diagnostic elements—such as cells and bacteria—are then evenly spread into a thin, non-overlapping layer. This uniform layer is transferred onto a glass slide, making it ideal for microscopic evaluation or automated digital analysis. Capable of processing up to 12 samples in just 5 minutes, the TCT12-S ensures efficient, contamination-free operation, producing clean backgrounds and consistent smear quality with minimal effort.
