YGR® Single Cytology Funnel (Settling)
The Single Cytology Funnel (Settling) is a device used to prepare slides for Liquid-based Cytologic Test (LCT), which helps detect cervical cancer and other gynecological conditions. The chamber includes parts like a clamp, filter membrane, absorbent paper, and a glass slide. It uses controlled spinning YGR® Cytology Centrifuge to help cells from the sample stick to the right area of the slide. This process creates high-quality slides needed for accurate screening and diagnosis.

Sample Handling
The funnel helps handle cervical cell samples by offering slots for centrifuging and fixing the cells. This ensures the samples stay in good condition during preparation. -
Slide Preparation
It provides a stable platform to evenly spread the sample on a slide, creating a thin cell layer. This helps make the slides consistent and reliable. -
Cell Protection
During slide preparation, the chamber keeps the sample safe from outside factors, helping preserve the shape and structure of the cells. It also supports proper sample labeling and storage.
How to Use

Attach the funnel to the centrifuge machine. Add 2–3 ml of well-mixed cell sample liquid.

Follow standard procedures to complete the preparation, then remove the funnel.

Take out the absorbent paper and slide together, then discard the absorbent paper.

Use the prepared slide for staining, analysis, and TBS report generation.
