YGR® Membrane Cytology Filter
The YGR® Membrane Cytology Filter is specifically designed for use with liquid-based cytology preparation and is optimized for compatibility with the YGR-R02/03 Cytology Machines. It features a dual-layer construction: the upper layer is a nylon filter that effectively removes impurities, while the lower layer is an 8μm microfiltration membrane that retains cellular material, ensuring cells are not lost during the filtration process.
The YGR® membrane cytology filter is used for liquid-based cytology tableting with a specific tableting machine, tailered to our YGR-Z02/03 Cytology Machine. Double-layer filter, one layer is nylon filter to filter impurities, and the other layer is 8μm microfiltration membrane to ensure that cells are not filtered out and attached to the filter membrane. When the filter membrane is in contact with the glass slide again, a thin circular cell layer with a diameter of about 2 cm is formed at the defined position.
